The cutter comes with a 3/8-inch shank size and a pilot drill size of 3/8 inch diameter and 2-3/4 inches length. The cutter's replacement arbor is available as Mfr. No. 49-57-0035, while the replacement pilot drill is Mfr. No. 49-57-0038. The carbide's life can be extended by applying lubrication during drilling. Milwaukee recommends the use of Hawg Wash cutting fluid for the cutter's optimum performance.
