While primarily used for drilling holes in concrete and masonry materials, these bits are also suitable for installing pipe and conduit. Keep in mind that this product is only compatible with SDS Max rotary hammers.
The DEWALT SDS Max Bit received high marks in our testing for its durability and effectiveness. We put it to work drilling holes in hard concrete and found that it performed exceptionally well. The redesigned head geometry made it able to withstand rebar strikes without any damage. One thing to keep in mind is that this bit is quite long, measuring in at 31 inches.
