Makita's XSH06Z Circular saw is a powerhouse tool that has a lot to offer. The saw is capable of making up to 600 crosscuts per charge in 2x4 SPF lumber using two fully-charged 5.0Ah batteries. The saw is powered by two LXT batteries, making it free from the cord which enables it to meet even the most demanding applications without calling for a corded saw. The tool has an electronically-controlled BL Brushless motor that matches torque and RPM to the application. With automatic speed change technology, the cutting speed and torque are adjusted under load to provide the best possible performance. The saw boasts of a large 2-11/16” cutting capacity at 90 degrees, and an electric brake for maximum productivity. The saw also features a die-cast magnesium base and blade guard with die-cast aluminum blade cover and motor housing. These features provide durability combined with less weight (only 10.4 lbs. with batteries, sold separately). Other added features include a built-in dust blower to clean the line-of-cut, and a built-in tether notch (tether sold separately).
