This pad kit comes with three different foam pads: black foam finishing pad, yellow foam polishing pad, and wool cutting pad. These three pads are designed specifically for the Milwaukee M18 2738-20 Polisher and feature a 5/8-inch arbor hole size.
The black foam finishing pad, 49-36-2783, is made from a blend of wool fibers and has a 1-1/2" deep pile. It attaches to your Milwaukee backing pad, 49-36-2200, with disc nut, 49 to 40 - 0390. This blended wool pad gives the user a high gloss on clear coat finishes. The yellow foam polishing pad, 49-36-2784, quickly aligns the pad for perfect balance and a smooth glide across polishing area. Its 1-1/2" pile depth is also blended wool. Lastly, the wool cutting pad, 49-36-2785, features a heavy-duty foam construction and a hook-and-loop attachment design. It is the perfect pad to remove heavy defects in the paint. However, it is not recommended for use by inexperienced or novice polisher operators. These three pads are the original Milwaukee set of polishing pads.
