The Makita XRJ01Z 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless Compact Reciprocating Saw is designed to handle a wide range of cutting applications while also being compact enough to use in tight spaces. Its variable speed of 0-3,000 strokes per minute and 1/2" stroke length allow for faster, more efficient cutting. The exclusive dual-position on/off switch allows for both paddle and trigger switch operation, making it easy to use with either hand. The tool-less blade change system makes blade installation and removal quick and easy, increasing productivity on the job.

Weighing only 3.9 pounds and with a length of 15-5/8", the Makita XRJ01Z is designed for convenient operation. It has a rubberized soft grip for increased comfort on the job, and the built-in LED light illuminates the work area for improved visibility. Using Makita's LXT Lithium-Ion battery, this saw provides longer run time and has 16 firm holding contact terminals for constant high power.
