The variable speed control dial allows the user to match the speed (980-5,600 ft./min.) to the application. The adjustable sanding arm pivots up to 100 degrees for hard-to-reach places, while the adjustable belt tracking can be easily done with a turn of a knob. The sander also includes a quick-release lever for easy belt replacement.
The Makita 9032 comes with three different size arm assemblies and belts available (1/4-inch, 3/8-inch, 1/2-inch) for increased versatility.
